Education: B.A. Architecture – Winter 2004 – California State Polytechnic University of Pomona
Masters of Business Administration candidate – Woodbury University, Burbank, CA
Professional Summary: Generalist employee with education and experience in architecture and business. I had worked as an unlicensed architect on modernization and new design projects of educational campuses for LAUSD, CSU Fullerton, UCI, and some commercial projects. Worked in teams of architects, engineers, and construction company project managing projects from schematic design to 100% construction documents gaining approval for construction from state and county agencies.
Upon moving from public sector to the private sector; the long-term decision to transition from architecture to being an employee in corporations was due to experiencing “pains” at the retail operation level. I had committed to attending graduate program in business to understand the fiduciary responsibilities of business managers and to learn more about leadership within organizations.
Early on in my career, I had focused on how to innovate and use technologies to properly provide solutions to questions like: how can a retailer use technologies to meet or exceed forecasted sales budgets with technologies and limited human capital. How does one apply ethics and new theories regarding leadership and increasing employee engagement based on research in the workforce? The education made me aware of major scandals of fraud in the past by large corporations and the question of how was the recession of 2008 created.
I have experience with numerous companies ranging from: retail, manufacturing, and distribution centers. I have advocated for more fairness and less nepotism, competent management, and reduction of unethical business practices in the reality of trying to be profitable, and reduction of harsh working conditions for employees of organizations.
I have also stood up for police brutality, elimination of affirmative action, xenophobia, and torture/human experimentation. I am hopeful the proposed bills will regulate to reduce powers where there is too much concentrated powers (reduction of conflict of interests), deregulate to free up red tape for the people, and restore civil liberties that have been eroded with a advanced technologies and a growing federal government that have turned humanism into transhumanism. Symbiosis between humans to learning machines have been nonconsent and unequal from the beginning.
